Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) seeks a Lead Technician in the United States, New York region. You will diagnose drivability and electrical systems, mentor teammates, and drive improvements in customer care and satisfaction.

You’ll operate in a performance-based flat-rate pay model and receive formal training, ASE certification support, and opportunities for professional growth within a national automotive leader. Bridgestone supports work-life balance and a diverse workforce.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid automobile driver's license at all times.
• ASE certifications in at least 3 of A1-A8 preferred (L1 allowed).
• 5 years automotive repair experience or equivalent training.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications - brakes, hydraulic systems, exhaust, ignition/electrical, suspension and alignment, A/C and computer systems.
• Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals.
• Stay current with automotive technology through continuous paid formal training.
• Obtain or maintain ASE certifications within first two years of employment.
