LEAD AUTOMOTIVE TECHNICIAN / MENTOR

Qualified Candidates: Salary + Bonuses | Mentorship Incentives | Sign-On Bonus

Accurate Auto Group | Kingman, Parker

YOU'VE MASTERED YOUR CRAFT. NOW HELP SHAPE THE FUTURE OF IT.

You're the technician everyone turns to when they can't figure something out. You know how to diagnose—not just replace parts. You've spent years mastering your craft, and your reputation means something to you.

The best technicians and leaders don't just fix what's broken. They make the people around them better.

At Accurate Auto Group, we believe the automotive industry needs more than skilled technicians. It needs experienced professionals willing to develop/mentor the next generation.

And we're committed to being part of that change.

We’ve seen firsthand what can happen when someone is given the opportunity to learn, grow, and build a future. One of our team members started as a porter, worked his way up to technician, recently celebrated four years with our company, and just purchased his first home!

That’s the kind of growth and success we want to help create—not just for our business, but for the people who build it.

We need a highly experienced, hands-on Lead Automotive Technician who loves solving challenging problems, takes pride in quality work, and finds satisfaction in teaching others the why behind the repair.

Whether you've been a Master Technician, Shop Foreman, Team Lead, or simply the go-to person in your shop, we value technical expertise, integrity, productivity, patience, and leadership without ego.

This isn't a desk job. You'll continue turning wrenches, tackling advanced diagnostics, and producing quality work while helping the technicians around you become more capable and confident.

You've built a career on what you know. Now imagine what you could build by sharing it.

WE'RE INVESTING IN THE FUTURE OF OUR INDUSTRY!

The automotive industry is changing. Vehicles are becoming more complex, technology is advancing, and developing the next generation of skilled technicians has never been more important.

We believe the answer isn't just hiring more technicians. It's creating an environment where good technicians can become great ones.

And that takes more than training videos and certifications. It takes experienced professionals willing to share their knowledge, lead by example, and help others develop the diagnostic and problem-solving skills that come from real-world experience.

At Accurate Auto Group, we believe this industry is about more than fixing cars. It's about building better technicians and raising the standard of our profession. That means taking pride in workmanship, holding ourselves and each other accountable, and standing behind the quality of our work.

We're investing in the people, technology, training, and processes to make that possible. But we know that building a strong team starts with the right leadership.

We're not looking for someone to carry the entire shop on their shoulders. We're looking for someone who wants to help make everyone around them better.

Because when we develop better technicians, we strengthen the entire industry—one person at a time.

YOUR EXPERIENCE DESERVES THE RIGHT OPPORTUNITY

We know purpose matters, but so does earning a great living and working in a shop that respects your time and expertise.

At Accurate Auto Group, you'll find family-owned, independently operated shops with the structure and resources to support your success.

What you can expect:
  • $90,000-$150,000+ annual earning potential
  • Salary + bonuses for qualified candidates
  • Sign on bonus for the right candidate
  • Monday–Friday schedule — Saturdays and Sundays off
  • Technicians averaging 180–200 flagged hours per month
  • Consistent vehicle flow and an established customer base
  • Clean, organized, air-conditioned shop
  • Experienced Service Advisors and structured workflow
  • Digital Vehicle Inspections and modern shop management software
  • Modern diagnostic equipment and technology
  • Company-paid training and professional development
  • 75% of employee medical, dental, and vision premiums paid
  • 401(k) with 3% company match
  • Paid Time Off and six paid holidays
  • Company-paid $50,000 life insurance policy
  • Relocation assistance for qualified candidates
  • Paid working interview opportunity
  • Confidential hiring process

You shouldn't have to choose between earning well, doing quality work, and making a difference.

LEAD BY EXAMPLE. DEVELOP THE TEAM. KEEP DOING WHAT YOU LOVE.

As our Lead Automotive Technician / Mentor, you'll remain a productive, hands-on technician while helping improve the technical capabilities of the team.

You'll have the opportunity to:
  • Diagnose and repair complex electrical, drivability, engine, and mechanical problems
  • Guide technicians through diagnostic processes instead of simply providing answers
  • Share your knowledge of testing procedures, scan tools, and modern vehicle systems
  • Help developing technicians build confidence, accuracy, and efficiency
  • Promote quality workmanship, accountability, and consistent repair practices
  • Lead by example through your professionalism, work ethic, and integrity

We're not looking for someone who knows everything. We're looking for someone who knows a lot—and is willing to share it.

IS THERE ENOUGH WORK TO EARN WHAT YOU'RE WORTH?

It's one of the first questions experienced flat-rate technicians ask. And it's a fair one.

Our Arizona shops have an established customer base and consistent repair demand. We invest in marketing, customer retention, Service Advisor training, and organized workflow because technicians can't be productive without vehicles in their bays.

Our technicians consistently average 180–200 flagged hours per month.

We also recognize that helping another technician learn takes time. That's why this role includes opportunities for additional mentorship compensation, rewarding the impact you make beyond your own production.

We want you to be successful as both a technician and a mentor.

THE RIGHT FIT GOES BOTH WAYS. TEST DRIVE OUR SHOP.

We know experienced technicians aren't interested in making a move based on promises alone.

That's why qualified candidates may participate in a paid working interview.

Come meet the team, see our equipment, experience the workflow, and get a real look at how we operate.

See how vehicles move through the shop. Meet the people you'll work alongside. Ask questions and decide whether we're the right fit for you.

See what we're building before you decide whether it's worth moving your toolbox.

THE EXPERIENCE AND CHARACTER WE VALUE
  • 15+ years of professional automotive repair experience preferred; exceptional candidates considered
  • Advanced diagnostic, electrical, and drivability troubleshooting skills
  • Strong mechanical repair experience across major vehicle systems
  • Experience with scan tools, diagnostic testing, and modern automotive technology
  • Broad domestic and import repair experience preferred
  • ASE Master certification or equivalent advanced experience preferred
  • Previous mentoring, Shop Foreman, or Lead Technician experience a plus
  • Proven productivity and high-quality workmanship
  • Patience, clear communication, and a willingness to teach
  • Professional tools, a valid driver's license, and a clean driving record
  • Just as important as what you know is how you treat the people around you.

We value humility, accountability, integrity, and technicians who take pride in helping the entire team succeed.

TECHNICIAN-OWNED. FAMILY RUN. PROFESSIONAL. COMMITTED TO PEOPLE.

Accurate Auto Group serves communities throughout Kingman, Lake Havasu City, and Parker, Arizona.

We're an independent, family-owned company that believes building a successful automotive business starts with investing in people.

Our shops have earned a 4.9-star Google rating with more than 650 customer reviews. Several members of our team have been with us for 10 years or longer.

We invest in facilities, equipment, technology, training, and professional development because we're serious about building an environment where good people can do their best work and continue to grow.

Our goal isn't simply to fill another technician position. It's to build a team that raises the standard for what working in the automotive industry can be.

CONSIDERING A MOVE TO WESTERN ARIZONA?

For the right candidate, relocation assistance may be available, including support with moving expenses and rental deposits to help make your transition easier.

Western Arizona offers the best of both worlds—easy access to the Colorado River, boating, fishing, and endless off-road adventures, paired with a relaxed, small-town lifestyle without the traffic, congestion, or fast pace of larger Southwest cities.

And with weekends off, you'll actually have time to enjoy it.

YOUR EXPERIENCE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE THAT LASTS.

Think about the technicians who helped you get where you are today.

The ones who took the time to show you something, challenged you to think differently, or trusted you with a job you weren't sure you could handle.

Now you have the opportunity to be that person for someone else.

We're looking for an experienced technician who still loves working on vehicles but also wants to leave the industry a little better than they found it.

You don't need to quit your job.

You don't need to make a decision today.

You don't even need a resume to start the conversation.
