The role requires advanced diagnostic skills, leadership and the ability to coach technicians, with strong collaboration with Service Advisors, Shop Foremen, Parts, and management.

Qualifications

• Significant automotive technician experience in a dealership or high-volume repair environment.
• Advanced diagnostic and repair skills across a broad range of vehicle systems.
• Demonstrated ability to provide technical direction, coaching, and support to other technicians.
• Ability to organize and coordinate workflow while balancing individual repair responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support an assigned team of technicians while remaining actively involved in diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance.
• Coordinate workflow within the team to ensure repair work is completed efficiently, accurately, and on time.
• Provide technical guidance and assistance to technicians with complex diagnostics, repairs, and troubleshooting.
• Monitor repair progress, identify delays or obstacles, and help resolve issues affecting productivity or completion times.
• Review work to ensure repairs meet manufacturer, dealership, and quality standards.
• Support the development of technicians by providing coaching, technical guidance, and hands-on assistance.
