Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) is seeking a Lead Technician in Kansas to diagnose drivability and electrical systems, mentor a team, and drive customer care. The role emphasizes leadership, ongoing training, and a focus on quality service in a fast-paced shop environment.

Pay Range: $23.81 - $48.53 per hour with a flat-rate pay model; company-paid training and ASE certification support are provided. A valid driver's license and ASE-ready credentials are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid driver's license and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Knowledge of brakes, alignment, suspension, tires and general automotive maintenance.
• Ability to explain technical information to non-technical people.
• Current federal, state and local certification/license where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications – brake, hydraulic, exhaust, ignition, electrical, suspension and alignment, and HVAC systems.
• Explain diagnoses and needed repairs to customers in clear, non-technical terms.
• Stay current with automotive technology through formal training.
• Assist and train technicians in performing technical activities.
• Work toward ASE certifications; tests are paid for by the company.
