Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations in Missouri seeks a Lead Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems while mentoring a team to boost customer care. You will diagnose, repair, and clearly explain complex issues, staying current with automotive tech through paid formal training.

Bridgestone offers on-the-job training, ASE certification support, paid vacation, healthcare, and a $3,000 sign-on bonus for state inspection certified candidates.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Skilled in brakes diagnosis/repair and alignment/suspension.
• Experience with tire repair and general automotive maintenance.
• Current federal, state and local certification/license where applicable.
• Ability to explain technical information to non-technical people.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair brakes, hydraulic, exhaust, ignition, electrical, suspension and A/C systems.
• Explain diagnoses and repairs to non-technical customers.
• Stay current with automotive technology through paid training.
• Assist and train technicians in technical activities.
• Pursue ASE certifications (A1–A8) within two years; test fees covered.
