You will mentor technicians, manage work scheduling, collaborate on repair estimates, ensure safety, and stay current with automotive technology through ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience as an Automotive Technician with focus on diagnostics and repairs.
• Proven leadership skills to guide and motivate a team of technicians.
• Strong knowledge of automotive systems including electrical, mechanical, and engine components.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex diagnostic procedures and repairs on a wide range of vehicles, including electrical, mechanical, and engine systems.
• Lead and mentor a team of automotive technicians, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality workmanship.
• Oversee the scheduling and assignment of repair jobs, ensuring optimal utilization of resources and timely completion of tasks.
• Collaborate with the service advisor to provide accurate and detailed repair estimates, including identifying parts and labor requirements.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and industry regulations, promoting a safe working environment for the team and customers.
• Stay updated with the latest automotive technology, trends, and repair techniques through ongoing training and professional development.
• Utilize automotive diagnostic equipment, tools, and software to efficiently diagnose and troubleshoot vehicle issues.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, services performed, and parts used, utilizing our shop management system.
• Assist in maintaining an organized and clean work environment, including the proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer concerns, explaining repairs, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
