Job summary

Promotive in Bennington, NE is seeking a Lead Automotive Diagnostic Technician to diagnose complex electrical and drivability concerns across multiple makes, including European vehicles. You will lead and mentor technicians, perform DVIs, document findings, and collaborate with the service team to ensure accurate repairs.

The role offers a Monday–Friday daytime schedule, no weekends, and employer-paid health insurance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of automotive repair and diagnostic experience.
• Advanced, A-level automotive diagnostic skills.
• Ability to diagnose complex vehicle concerns independently.
• Strong electrical, mechanical, and drivability troubleshooting skills.
• Experience using automotive diagnostic equipment and digital inspection software.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose complex electrical, mechanical, and drivability concerns.
• Troubleshoot vehicle problems and recommend effective repairs.
• Lead and mentor technicians on diagnostic procedures.
• Perform general automotive repairs and maintenance.
• Complete digital vehicle inspections (DVIs).
• Document findings, repair plans, parts, and labor needs.
• Communicate clearly with the service team to support accurate repairs.
