Promotive in Portland, OR seeks an experienced European Automotive Technician to diagnose and repair high-end European vehicles. The role offers $50-$60/hour tiered pay with an annual earning potential of $100,000–$125,000, with a Monday–Friday day schedule and no weekends.

The technician will work with factory-level diagnostic equipment, perform DVIs, and contribute to ongoing training in a shop specializing in European brands.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional European automotive repair experience.
• Strong knowledge of European vehicle systems and repair procedures.
• Solid diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience working on high-end European vehicles.
• Ability to complete repairs independently from diagnosis through completion.
• Experience performing Digital Vehicle Inspections (DVIs).
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair European vehicles from initial diagnosis through final repair.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and drivability concerns.
• Perform general maintenance and mechanical repairs.
• Complete Digital Vehicle Inspections (DVIs) and document findings and recommendations.
• Use factory-level diagnostic equipment to identify vehicle concerns.
• Maintain attention to detail throughout diagnosis and repair.
• Communicate with customers regarding vehicle concerns when needed.
