Job summary

Hyundai Motor Group seeks an experienced Clay Modeling Manager to oversee Genesis clay modeling from concept to production feasibility. Lead a sculpting team, translate digital intent into precise physical clay surfaces, and coordinate with design, digital modeling, engineering and prototype teams.

The role demands strong automotive design knowledge, leadership, and hands-on craftsmanship to deliver high-quality models and drive design reviews across programs.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma/GED is required.
• 10 years in automotive clay modeling or design prototyping are expected.
• Ability to facilitate meetings and communicate at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and execution of clay modeling across programs.
• Create full-size and scale clay models with high surface quality.
• Motivate a team of sculptors to produce accurate representations for reviews.
• Collaborate with design, digital modeling, engineering and prototyping teams.
