Job summary

Berkshire Hathaway GUARD Insurance Companies in the United States is seeking an Automation Test Engineer III to lead design, development, and optimization of automated testing infrastructure. This senior role drives quality initiatives, mentors engineers, and collaborates across departments to ensure scalable test practices.

The candidate will architect enterprise‑level frameworks with Tosca, define best practices, and partner with DevOps to embed tests in CI/CD and cloud environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 6+ years of experience in software quality assurance and test automation.
• Expert-level proficiency in Tricentis Tosca, including test design and data management.
• Strong experience with Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress.
• Deep understanding of CI/CD tools and cloud platforms (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, AWS/Azure).
• Proven experience leading QA initiatives and mentoring teams.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Proven experience leading QA initiatives and mentoring teams.
• Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and leadership skills.

• Tricentis Tosca Automation Specialist Level 1, 2, and Test Design Specialist
• ISTQB Certified Tester – Advanced Level Test Automation Engineer
• Certified Agile Test Leader (CATL)
• Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional
• Certified Jenkins Engineer (CJE)

Salary Range

$65,900.70 - $152,611.80. In accordance with applicable pay transparency laws, this range represents a good‑faith estimate. Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience, credentials, geographic location, and other considerations permitted by law.

This role may be based out of any of our office locations, including: Parsippany, NJ; Conshohocken, PA; Wilkes‑Barre, PA; Alpharetta, GA.
