Job summary

Insight Global is seeking an experienced QA Lead to implement testing strategies across AAA game development. You will oversee automation, performance tools, and defect lifecycle while coordinating with cross-functional teams to meet high-quality standards.

The role requires leadership, strong communication, and hands-on experience with test automation, FPS/AAA game testing, and familiarity with Unity/Unreal Engine. You will mentor a small technical team and drive best practices across projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4+ years in software testing.
• Over 1 year in automated testing or scripting.
• Over 1 year in a leadership role focused on test planning and mentoring.
• Proficiency in at least one language (Java, Python, C#, Bash, Lua, PowerShell).
• Hands-on with test automation tools or frameworks (Selenium, Appium, JUnit).
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Experience testing AAA games and FPS/Action RPG titles.
• Experience with Unity or Unreal Engine.
• Experience with CI/CD (TeamCity, Jenkins).
• Experience with test case management (QMetry, TestRail).
• ISTQB certification or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Define testing strategies and plans across the game development lifecycle.
• Maintain automated frameworks and performance tools for broad coverage.
• Lead daily testing and oversee defect lifecycle with developers.
• Coordinate with production, engineering, and QA teams to meet standards.
• Mentor a small technical team on QA best practices and tools.
