Job summary

Knobelsdorff Enterprises is seeking an experienced Automation Engineer to lead control system design, programming, and commissioning for automation projects. You will deliver reliable, scalable industrial solutions and communicate clearly with clients and internal teams.

You’ll design control panels, panels networking, and field devices, while creating executable PLC/HMI/SCADA programs and documentation. Travel up to 30% is expected.

Qualifications

5+ years’ programming experience with PLC/HMI/SCADA applications.
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or computer science, or equivalent.
Proficient in industrial control systems, motor control, and field instrumentation.
Experience with RSLogix 5000, FactoryTalk View SE, and Rockwell tools.

Responsibilities

Lead automation projects from conception to completion within timelines and budget.
Design industrial control systems, panels, networking, and field devices.
Develop PLC/HMI/SCADA programs with modular, reusable techniques.
Configure devices like Ethernet switches, VFDs, and controllers.
Provide on-site startup, commissioning, and field support.
