Job summary

Lilly is seeking an Automation Engineer for the Lebanon, IN facility startup. You will design and implement automation strategies compliant with cGMP batch manufacturing, collaborate with system integrators, and support lifecycle management and cybersecurity.

The role requires onsite presence with some WFH flexibility and travel up to 20% for design reviews and training. Responsibilities include automation governance, PID parameter adjustments, and ensuring safe operation of new equipment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in automation or process control.
• Experience with Rockwell Automation, OSI/PI Historian, or related automation and control platform.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Automation Strategies for cGMP batch manufacturing.
• Generate/Update Design SDLC documentation.
• Support Automated System commissioning and qualifications.
• Provide technical coaching and consultation to Lilly engineers.
• Travel up to 10-20% for design review meetings and training.
