Job summary

Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, Inc. in Troy, New York, seeks a Senior Automation Engineer to lead improvements of automated process controls and monitoring systems for our regulated biopharmaceutical manufacturing operations.

You will design, implement, and support DeltaV DCS, PLCs, and HMI solutions; work with Manufacturing, Quality Control, Facilities, Engineering, and Validation teams; and contribute to continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
• 5+ years automation engineering experience in a regulated environment.
• Experience with DeltaV DCS and PLCs.
• Strong knowledge of automated control systems and change control processes.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement software and hardware improvements to automated and new equipment under change control.
• Provide PLC- and HMI-based technical support to various departments per established SOPs.
• Identify, investigate, and resolve manufacturing deviations tied to automated control systems.
• Develop engineering design documents, technical evaluations, and test plans in line with GAMP 5.
