Job summary

Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, Inc. seeks an Automation Manager to lead a team responsible for cGMP automation quality systems, software change control, and related corrective actions.

You will develop procedures, coach Automation staff, and ensure manufacturing systems function reliably with timely fixes. The role requires strong leadership, deep automation knowledge (PLC/HMI/MES), and a focus on regulatory compliance to support fast-growing manufacturing operations in Troy, NY.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Engineering, software programming, or related field.
• 6+ years of automation experience for Associate Manager or 7+ years for Manager.
• Experience with automated equipment in cGMP environments.
• Strong knowledge of PLC/HMI and industrial networks.
• Experience mentoring teams under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage performance, training, and results of the automation team.
• Provide technical and automation support to manufacturing.
• Oversee configuration and maintenance of process equipment and cGMP software administration.
• Lead periodic evaluation reports for automated systems used in manufacturing.
• Oversee investigation of deviations and anomalies related to automation and software.
• Manage projects related to corrective actions or equipment performance improvements.
• Implement change control procedures and validation support.
