Logical Systems, LLC seeks a Senior Control Systems Engineer to analyze user requirements and design automation systems for process and mechanical equipment. You will apply knowledge in instrumentation, valves, motors/VFDs, electrical design, PLC/DCS programming, and HMI/SCADA to deliver effective automation solutions.

The role emphasizes leading a controls engineering team, delivering feasible design plans, and ensuring projects meet client needs with high integrity and strong communication

Qualifications

• Degreed in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, or similar) or equivalent technical field.
• Ideal: 10 years in a similar engineering role and hands-on experience with major automation platforms.

Responsabilités

• Interface with customers to develop User Requirements documentation.
• Lead project teams to execute the controls hardware and/or software scope.
• Develop control narratives based on User Requirements.
• Perform feasibility studies with cost estimates and supporting docs.
• Review P&ID drawings and instrument/control changes with drafting.
• Design electrical controls drawings, panels, I/O, and network diagrams.
• Develop or oversee DCS/PLC programs; include HMI/SCADA configuration.
• Configure historian and data analytics as needed.
• Provide post-commissioning support; travel to client sites as required.
