Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) in Nashville, TN seeks a Lead Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems, while mentoring a team toward higher customer care and satisfaction. The role emphasizes precise diagnostics, clear explanations, and ongoing formal training to stay ahead of automotive technology.

You will work within a performance-based pay model and pursue ASE certifications. A strong emphasis on safety, quality, and teamwork applies across all tasks.

Qualifications

• Diagnose and repair to specifications across brake, hydraulic, electrical, and suspension systems.
• Explain technical diagnoses to non-technical customers clearly.
• Pursue ASE certifications; training funded by the company.
• Maintain current federal, state, and local certifications where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications - brake and hydraulic, exhaust, primary and/or advanced fuel ignition and electrical, suspension and alignment, air conditioning and computer systems.
• Adequately explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals.
• Stay current with rapidly changing automotive technology through continuous paid formal training.
• Assist and train technicians/mechanics in performing technical activities.
• Obtain or maintain ASE certifications in at least five of A1 – A8 within first two years of employment.
