Job summary
Bridgestone Retail Operations is seeking a Lead Technician in Nashville, TN to diagnose drivability and electrical systems while mentoring a team for improved customer care and satisfaction. The role offers a flat-rate pay model and on-the-job training.
You will diagnose and repair a broad range of systems, obtain ASE certifications, and contribute to maintaining Bridgestone's reputation for quality service. A strong automotive background is required.
Qualifications
- Brake diagnosis and repair skills to spec, including hydraulics, electrical and steering systems.
- Alignment and suspension diagnosis/repair expertise.
- General automotive maintenance and tire repair proficiency.
- Strong reading, writing and math abilities.
- Ability to explain technical diagnoses to non-technical customers.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair to specifications - brake and hydraulic, exhaust, primary and/or advanced fuel ignition and electrical, suspension and alignment, air conditioning and computer systems.
- Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals.
- Stay current with automotive technology through paid formal training.
- Assist and train technicians in technical activities.
- Pursue ASE certifications (A1–A8) within first two years of employment; tests funded by the company.
