McCluskey Chevrolet Buick GMC in Cincinnati seeks a Shop Foreman to lead daily service operations at a high‑volume GM dealership. You will mentor technicians, optimize workflow, and drive diagnostic quality while ensuring GM standards are met.

This role reports to the Service Director and emphasizes safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction, with a focus on coaching teams, managing warranty work, and maintaining precise documentation.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in a high‑volume automotive repair shop.
• Proven leadership experience as a Lead Technician, Shop Foreman, or similar role.
• Strong diagnostic and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a servant leadership style.
• Monday-Friday and Saturday availability.
• GM dealership experience or Master Technician certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize daily workflow in a high‑volume service environment.
• Assign repair orders based on technician skill level and workload.
• Monitor cycle time, productivity, and efficiency to meet dealership targets.
• Ensure proper dispatching and prioritization of work, including warranty and internal repairs.
• Provide advanced diagnostic and repair support to technicians.
• Serve as the escalation point for complex vehicle issues.
• Ensure repairs meet GM standards and are documented for audits.
• Mentor, coach, and train technicians to improve skill levels and certifications.
• Enforce safety policies and maintain an organized shop environment.
• Assist with estimating, productivity tracking, and problem resolution.
