Job summary

Crash Champions in Sandy Springs, GA is seeking a skilled auto body technician to examine damaged vehicles, plan repairs, and coordinate with team to restore quality on time. You will operate frame machines, follow manufacturer procedures, supervise apprentices when needed, and uphold safety and workmanship standards.

Compensation includes a commission/flag rate structure with a wide pay range based on experience.

Qualifications

• Experience using frame machines and repair equipment.
• I-CAR welding certification or willingness to obtain.
• Understanding of manufacturer repair procedures.
• Ability to supervise and guide apprentices.
• Must pass thorough background check.
• Commitment to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Examine damaged vehicle and plan repair process.
• Communicate repair status with team.
• Perform quality repairs while maintaining on-time status.
• Decide on repair vs. replacement considering safety and cost.
• Remove upholstery and trim to access areas.
• Participate in safety meetings.
• File, grind, and sand repaired surfaces.
• Direct apprentice when needed.
