Qualifications

• Experience using a frame machine and performing body repairs.
• I-CAR welding certification or equivalent.
• Ability to read and interpret measuring data.
• Supervisory experience on a shop floor.
• Ability to pass a thorough background check.

Responsibilities

• Examine damaged vehicle and plan repair process.
• Communicate repair status with team.
• Perform quality repairs with on-time status.
• Decide repair vs replace based on safety, cost, cycle time.
• Remove upholstery and related parts to access areas.
• Participate in safety meetings.
• File, grind, and sand repaired surfaces.
• Direct work of an apprentice when needed.
