Missouri Department of Mental Health (DMH), Office of Audit Services (OAS), seeks a Lead Auditor to join the Audit team. This position conducts audits to assess financial accuracy, operational effectiveness, and compliance while reporting findings and advising leadership on corrective actions.

This position requires travel as necessary to perform audits and related work. Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor's degree with accounting credits and two or more years of auditing experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 24 earned credit hours in accounting and two or more years of professional auditing experience.
• Travel required to perform audits and related work.
• Proficiency with Word and Excel for documentation and analysis.

Responsabilités

• Plan, direct, coordinate, and review audit activities for program and financial audits.
• Evaluate accuracy of financial records and effectiveness of internal controls.
• Prepare and present audit reports; advise management on corrective actions.
