Job summary

You will plan audits, develop programs, prepare financial statements and draft footnotes while ensuring adherence to GAAP, GAAS and GAGAS.

The role requires strong communication, mentoring of interns and staff, and the ability to manage timelines and budgets across engagements with expected travel.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
• Detail oriented and ability to multi-task.
• Strong accounting, analytical and organizational skills.
• Proven knowledge of GAAP and GAAS and ability to research issues.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial statement and compliance engagements per GAAS, GAGAS or other standards.
• Examine and report on internal controls when required.
• Analyze client financial control issues and gaps.
• Prepare and review work papers and audit documentation.
• Prepare and review reports and audit findings.
• Advise clients on technical accounting matters.
• Manage engagement scope, timelines, and budgets.
• Mentor interns and staff.
• Travel as needed.
