Job summary

Fireside Theatre in Wisconsin seeks an Audio Visual Supervisor to design, implement, operate, and manage all audio, video, show control, and communication systems for productions and events. You will lead the audio team, coordinate with directors and staff, and ensure high-quality sound across performances and rehearsals.

The role requires proficiency with DiGiCo consoles, QLab, Dante networking, DAWs, and wireless mics, with a schedule including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred; equivalent professional experience considered.
• Professional experience in theatrical sound design and live audio production.
• Experience supervising audio personnel preferred.
• Proficiency with digital audio consoles including DiGiCo, QLab, Dante networking, DAWs, wireless mics.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary sound designer for Fireside productions and events.
• Collaborate with directors, designers, and staff to create engaging sound designs.
• Create and maintain cues, music, effects, and show documentation.
• Oversee audio systems, consoles, and related technology (QLab, Dante, wireless mics).
• Supervise and mentor audio staff; manage budgets and inventory.
• Support rehearsals, tech weeks, performances with setup and live mixing.
• Attend meetings and collaborate across departments to ensure audio needs are met.
