Job summary

Cirque du Soleil Entertainment Group is seeking a Head of Audio to lead the Audioteam for shows at “O!”. The role supports the Technical Director and Audio Manager in operations, installation, testing and maintenance of audio systems in a live entertainment environment.

The ideal candidate has strong leadership, experience with audio gear (RF, video, LCS, consoles), and the ability to work under pressure. English fluency is required; French is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with audio in live entertainment
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Willingness to work in a physically demanding role

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Show and Technical Service leaders on projects and maintenance
• Oversee weekly tasks and crew scheduling
• Manage HR/administrative tasks for the department
• Assist with yearly budgets planning
• Operate front of house and troubleshoot audio/video/communications equipment
• Ensure proper documentation of designs, equipment, logs and procedures
• Promote OSHA safety regulations and training
• Develop knowledge of all Audio department equipment
• Establish emergency procedures for show systems
• Oversee installation of new audio show elements
• Maintain health and safety training records and scheduling
• Complete other duties as assigned
