Job summary

CCLS is seeking a Supervising/Directing Attorney for Re-Entry Legal Services to lead the Pro Bono Program. The role guides expansion of the Re-Entry Project, oversees volunteer teams, and collaborates with partners to deliver essential legal services to low-income clients across the service area.

The attorney may be based in Fresno, Merced, or Visalia offices, or work remotely with occasional in-person meetings. Strong leadership and program development experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a pro bono or legal services program.
• Ability to design and expand volunteer-driven services.
• Strong collaboration with community partners and legal professionals.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, expansion, and operation of the Re-Entry Legal Services Project.
• Recruit, train, and support volunteers; develop training materials.
• Build and maintain referral pipelines and relationships with community partners.
