Job summary

INSPYR Solutions seeks a Lead Attorney to oversee state-specific litigation workflows, discovery, filings, and client communications in a busy California environment. You will drive settlements, supervise a team, and coordinate with outside counsel to ensure compliant, efficient litigation progress.

The ideal candidate has 5–7 years civil litigation experience with debt collection emphasis, an active CA license, and strong leadership and mentoring abilities.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of civil litigation experience; debt collection experience strongly preferred.
• Active law license in California.

Responsibilities

• Manage state-specific litigation workflows and forms.
• Conduct document review and discovery.
• Execute documents requiring the Attorney's signature.
• Communicate with the Managing Attorney and clients about case details.
• Assist in responding to litigation-specific components of audits.
• Monitor relevant legal rules, regulations, statutes, and case law.
• Conduct research and analysis of legal problems.
• Analyze probable outcomes using precedents.
• Prepare and file legal documents.
• Manage and resolve collection litigation.
• Work with Pro Se litigants, opposing counsel, or other parties to settle files.
• Oversee and interact with outside collections and defense counsel.
• Support corporate compliance with debt collection laws.
