Job summary

Perma-Seal Basement Systems is seeking an experienced Spray Foam Crew Chief to lead a residential insulation crew. You will work hands-on installing spray foam and blown-in insulation while directing the crew to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality results.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, mentorship, and accountability, with a focus on meeting spec and code requirements on every job site.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of attic insulation experience.
• 3–5 years of crew leadership or lead installer experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with spray foam and blown-in insulation.
• Ability to lead, train, and motivate a team.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Comfortable working in attics, tight spaces, and varying temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise an attic insulation crew on residential job sites.
• Perform hands-on installation of spray foam and blown-in insulation.
• Direct crew workflow, productivity, and job-site safety.
• Ensure installations meet quality standards, manufacturer specs, and local code.
• Train, mentor, and hold crew members accountable for performance.
• Communicate professionally with homeowners during installation.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site.
• Troubleshoot job challenges and make real-time decisions in the field.
