Cognito Systems, in partnership with PSI, seeks a Lead Athletic Trainer to join the U.S. Army H2F program at Ft. Stewart in Hinesville, GA.

You will lead athletic training efforts, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and drive outcomes in injury prevention and performance optimization for soldiers. The role emphasizes collaboration with brigade leadership, development of education materials, and timely reporting. Requires CAATE-accredited education, BOC/NPI, and licensure; U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s CAATE-accredited degree and a Master’s in a related field.
• Graduate CAATE-accredited program; BOC passing score; NPI.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Brigade Lead Athletic Trainer and advisor on acute care, injury control, reconditioning, and performance optimization.
• Coordinate with Brigade H2F team and Master Fitness Trainers to support training programs for Soldiers with/without physical limitations.
• Ensure AT education aligns with Brigade training calendar and participates in leadership meetings.
• Prepare and submit Monthly Status Reports with recommendations and lessons learned.
• Attend meetings with H2F Performance Team and medical personnel as requested.
