Job summary

Cognito Systems, a joint venture with Planned Systems International (PSI), seeks a dedicated Athletic Trainer for the U.S. Army H2F program at Fort Benning, Columbus, GA. This civilian on-base role supports soldier readiness through prevention, injury management, and rehabilitation within a multidisciplinary team.

You will work M-F, 40 hours per week, contributing to domain-wide health optimization efforts and program expansion across brigades in coming years.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited program in athletic training.
• CAATE accreditation and BOC certification required.
• Active license or eligibility to obtain licensure in the U.S. states.
• National Provider Identifier (NPI) required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with physical therapists and other health professionals to deliver care.
• Provide prevention, acute injury management, and rehabilitation for musculoskeletal injuries.
• Support performance optimization addressing physical, mental, nutritional, sleep, and spiritual domains.
• Assist unit leaders with strategies to reduce injuries and improve readiness.
• Track outcomes using CIMT-developed data tools and report results.
