Job summary

The Douglas Judicial Circuit is seeking an Assistant District Attorney - Team Lead to oversee felony casework, review files, direct investigations, and lead courtroom prosecutions in the Atlanta metro area.

You will manage a trial line caseload, supervise peers, and collaborate with investigators and victim-witness advocates while upholding integrity and public service. A Georgia bar member with leadership and strong communication is preferred.

Qualifications

• Active bar membership in Georgia or reciprocity eligibility.
• 3–5 years of prosecution experience.
• Strong courtroom advocacy and trial experience.
• Leadership abilities and excellent communication.

Responsibilities

• Review felony case files and direct investigations to determine charges.
• Negotiate plea agreements and handle all phases of prosecution, including jury trials.
• Maintain an active caseload and ensure timely progression through court.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to other assistant district attorneys and collaborate with investigators and victim advocates.
