Job summary

North American Stamping Group in Portland, TN seeks a 1st Shift TNN2 Assembly & Weld Group Leader to coordinate daily secondary production operations, including Assembly, Bender, Weld, Grind. Lead Team Leaders and Team Members to meet safety, quality, delivery and cost targets.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, training, and continuous improvement within NASG's TQPS framework; experience in manufacturing leadership and lean practices is valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• Minimum two (2) years of manufacturing leadership experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience coordinating manpower, production priorities, and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day secondary operations including Assembly, Bender, Weld, Grind and related processes.
• Provide direction to Team Leaders and Team Members to meet safety, quality, and production targets.
• Ensure 5S, TPM, and continuous improvement practices are followed.
