Job summary

Daedalus Industrial is seeking an experienced Lead Assembly Technician to oversee the assembly team, perform hands-on fabrication, and ensure parts are built to blueprints with high quality. The role includes training new members and acting as on-site lead when managers are away.

You will coordinate safety, quality, and production goals, maintain instrumented systems, and ensure timely builds. Expect 10+ years in assembly, strong blueprint skills, and robotics experience.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in assembly or manufacturing, preferably in lead or supervisory capacity.
• Strong proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Experience with robotics and coordinating a team in an on-site manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to fabricate and assemble parts.
• Perform hands-on assembly to meet product specifications and quality standards.
• Provide guidance, mentorship, and training to new and existing team members; oversee the assembly team in manager's absence.
• Act as on-site lead when managers are offsite; coordinate assembly efforts and handle on-site challenges.
• Ensure safety and compliance and maintain project progress through effective communication.
