Job summary

Pentair plc is seeking an Assembly Operator Lead for 1st shift in Delavan, WI. You will lead a team of up to 20 while assembling, testing and packaging multiple sizes of 4” submersible pumps, ensuring safety and quality at every step.

You will drive standard work, participate in daily meetings, and manage staffing priorities to keep production on track. The role requires Lean awareness, Excel proficiency, and strong organizational skills.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of leadership experience preferred.
• Familiar with Lean Manufacturing concepts.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Point applications.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform assembly operations from first station to last station, including electrical connections and decals.
• Own quality production with your team through standard work adherence.
• Manage a team of up to 20 individuals.
• Present at daily MDI meeting for prior day metrics.
• Prioritize staffing daily and during shift.
• Ensure your team works safely every day.
• Create RCCMs for safety incidents as well as production misses.
• Understand a metric and adjust actions accordingly.
• Follow leader standard work daily/weekly/monthly.
