Colonial Group is seeking an Assembler Lead to supervise mass production of windows, doors, trusses, panels or stairs. You will train team members, assign tasks, and monitor throughput to ensure on-time quality results across shifts.

Ideal candidates have at least two years in component assembly or related carpentry/manufacturing, with strong safety awareness and the ability to adapt to changing models and multiple workstations. This role emphasizes teamwork and dependable work habits.

Qualifications

• Two years of component assembly experience or equivalent.
• Prior carpentry or manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities

• Plans and assigns work tasks among assembly team to meet daily, weekly, project, or team production goals.
• Tracks production and reports efficiency and output of the assembler team.
• Trains new assembler employees in assembly techniques, tools, machinery, and safety guidelines.
• Works with varying models of product and shifts to meet production needs.
• Places parts in correct relationships and fastens components together.
• Removes defective products and tends machines for fastening operations.
• Works at different workstations as production demands change.
• Cleans equipment, floors, and work areas according to safety procedures.
