SNI Companies is seeking a Paving Superintendent to join our Baltimore County, MD team. You will supervise Foremen on asphalt placement at multiple sites, ensuring quality, safety, and on-time delivery.

In this role you’ll direct field crews, coordinate resources, and report on productivity and costs. A strong background in asphalt paving leadership and safety best practices is essential for success in our fast-paced projects.

Qualifications

• High School education required; some college in construction/engineering/business preferred.
• 3–5 years in asphalt paving foreman role or 5–7 years field/road construction with leadership.

Responsibilities

• Perform job site quality control checks and QA on all work phases; monitor productivity, safety, and scheduling.
• Provide leadership to Foremen; fill in as needed and coordinate forces to boost productivity.
• Review projects with estimators and foremen to advise on site organization and resource allocation.
• Monitor compliance with contract requirements for noise, dust, and utility shutdown procedures; enforce safety policies.
• Check equipment usage and coordinate with Equipment Manager for needs and maintenance.
• Interface with Owner’s representatives and other external parties to align progress with expectations.
