Job summary

Brothers RDC Paving LLC in Texas is seeking an experienced Asphalt Foreman to supervise and coordinate the daily activities of our paving crew. This role ensures that asphalt projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to quality standards, with a focus on leadership and on-site coordination.

The ideal candidate has strong leadership, deep knowledge of asphalt paving processes, and the ability to work under pressure while keeping the crew focused and productive.

Qualifications

• 3+ years asphalt paving experience.
• Ability to read and interpret plans, grades, and specifications.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Willing to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor.
• Valid driver’s license; CDL preferred.
• Able to work long hours, including nights and weekends.
• Willing to travel regionally when needed.

Responsibilities

• Supervise paving crew operations daily.
• Lead site setup, traffic control, and safety briefings.
• Ensure work meets job specs, blueprints, and quality standards.
• Coordinate tasks, assign labor, oversee asphalt placement.
• Monitor timelines and adjust to meet schedules.
• Oversee paving equipment operations.
• Communicate with project managers, inspectors, drivers, and subcontractors.
• Maintain daily logs, timecards, and production reports.
• Identify and resolve on-site issues promptly.
• Uphold safety policies and PPE usage.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
