Job summary

Sphere Entertainment Co. is seeking an Art Director to lead visual concepting and art direction across Sphere’s experiential projects, including digital installations and brand activations.

This hands-on role requires a polished portfolio, strong storytelling, and the ability to collaborate with design, writers, motion graphics, and technologists. The position is a temporary assignment approximately 12 weeks, with expected 40 hours per week and possible evening or weekend work to meet deadlines

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Design and Art Direction experience in a creative studio or agency
• Proven track record of experiential activations at scale with brand and cultural clients
• Proficient in visualizing concepts across styles and mediums
• Strong written and verbal presentation skills

Responsibilities

• Design and direct visual execution of concepts across Sphere’s portfolio
• Lead design and animation teams on projects
• Develop pitches and proposals for brand partnerships
• Respond to feedback and uphold creative excellence
• Collaborate with production to ensure on-time delivery within budget
• Mentor and inspire junior designers
• Create bold concepts for non-traditional installations
