Job summary

BranchPattern is seeking an experienced Acoustics Consultant in Denver to lead architectural acoustics, sound isolation, and building systems noise analyses across multiple projects. You will develop recommendations, review designs, and coordinate with architects, engineers, and owners to deliver practical, buildable acoustical solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architectural Engineering, Acoustical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• Approximately 5+ years of relevant acoustical consulting experience with independent project execution.
• Experience with architectural acoustics, sound isolation, building systems noise and vibration control.
• Ability to read architectural/MEP drawings and use modeling/measurement tools; familiarity with Bluebeam and Revit.

Responsibilities

• Lead and perform architectural acoustics analyses, modeling, and performance evaluations.
• Establish acoustical criteria based on owner requirements, codes and best practices.
• Develop acoustical recommendations, design strategies, and project deliverables across all phases.
• Review design documents to ensure compliance with acoustical criteria.
• Interpret modeling results and translate findings into practical design guidance.
• Coordinate acoustical scope with project stakeholders and attend meetings.
• Conduct field measurements, site observations, and construction-phase reviews.
• Independently manage tasks, budgets, and schedules while communicating risks and scope changes.
