Job summary

GFF is seeking a Project Leader for its Mixed Use and Multifamily studio in Dallas to drive architectural design from concept through completion. You will lead a team of designers and engineers, coordinate across disciplines, and ensure projects meet client specifications, schedules, and budget targets.

Ideal candidates bring 8+ years of architecture experience with leadership and 5+ years in multifamily projects, including wood-frame types valued up to $150M, and strong Revit/SketchUp skills,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in architecture or related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in architecture with leadership responsibilities.
• Minimum of 5 years of multifamily experience, including wood-frame projects valued $50M–$150M.
• Experience coordinating civil, structural, and MEP engineering work.

Responsibilities

• Lead architectural design phases from concept to completion, ensuring client specs and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with designers, engineers, construction managers, and clients to enable seamless project execution.
• Develop and present design proposals, feasibility studies, and risk assessments to stakeholders.
• Mentor and manage a team of architects, promoting innovation and excellence.
• Oversee preparation of architectural documents and ensure adherence to standards and best practices.
• Foster client relationships to ensure high levels of satisfaction with project outcomes.
