Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking an Applied AI/ML Lead to define the future of banking through agentic AI. You will bridge research and delivery, translating business needs into measurable outcomes while improving engineering and scientific standards across the team.

You will architect generative AI and agent-based solutions, mentor engineers, and partner with business and tech stakeholders to scale responsible, high-impact automations within Commercial and Investment Banking.

Qualifications

• Formal training with 5+ years in applied AI/ML.
• Advanced degree in Computer Science, ML, Statistics, or related field.
• Experience designing experiments and measurable evaluations for ML.
• Proven track record deploying ML apps into production with reliability.
• Strong software engineering skills and reusable components.
• Experience with distributed training and state management for agents.
• Ability to lead through influence across cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Architect and deliver AI and agent-based solutions for end-to-end workflows.
• Translate business problems into research plans, success metrics, and scalable designs.
• Build multi-agent systems that coordinate tasks and improve via feedback.
• Design reusable services and architectures to accelerate adoption.
• Establish rigorous experimentation, offline/online evaluation and error analysis.
• Mentor applied AI engineers and researchers, promoting rigor and ownership.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to scale solutions responsibly with security in mind.
