Job summary

GFF Design in Dallas seeks a Project Leader (Architect) to guide faith and community projects from concept through completion. You will lead multidisciplinary teams of designers and engineers, coordinate with clients, and ensure design solutions meet program, budget, and regulatory requirements.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years of architecture leadership, proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp, and a deep understanding of codes and permitting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or related field.
• 8+ years of professional architecture experience with project leadership.
• Experience with faith-based, non-profit, and education project types.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp and standard software.
• Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and permitting processes.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the architectural design phases from concept to completion, ensuring client specs and regulatory requirements are met.
• Collaborate with engineers, construction managers, and clients to enable seamless project execution.
• Develop and present design proposals, feasibility studies, and risk assessments to stakeholders.
• Manage and mentor a team of architects and drafters, fostering innovation and excellence.
• Oversee preparation of architectural documents and ensure adherence to standards.
• Foster client relationships and ensure high client satisfaction with project outcomes.
