We are seeking a Lead Architect - Network & Data Infrastructure to own the end-to-end architecture, governance, and evolution of enterprise network platforms.This role is responsible for defining scalable, secure, and resilient network architectures across LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, and wireless domains, while ensuring alignment with business objectives, security standards, and operational excellence.The ideal candidate brings deep hands-on expertise combined with strong architectural judgment, acting as the design authority and senior escalation point for complex network and security challenges.This role plays a critical part in driving modernization, performance optimization, and proactive vulnerability management across the enterprise.
Architecture & Design:
- Define and own enterprise network architecture standards, reference designs, and technology roadmaps across LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, and wireless platforms
- Lead architecture design reviews and provide technical direction for Cisco and Aruba-based solutions
- Translate business, application, and security requirements into scalable and resilient network designs
Network Engineering & Optimization:
- Design, deploy, and optimize high-availability network solutions using Cisco and Aruba technologies
- Architect and govern dynamic routing strategies (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP) to ensure performance, resiliency, and scalability
- Architect and optimize Aruba wireless platforms for enterprise-grade mobility and seamless user experience
- Operational Excellence & Incident Leadership
- Act as the final escalation authority for critical and complex network incidents
- Lead root cause analysis (RCA) for major incidents and drive corrective and preventive actions
- Collaborate with operations, security, and application teams to minimize downtime and improve MTTR
Security & Vulnerability Governance
- Architect network security controls aligned with enterprise security frameworks and industry best practices
- Oversee vulnerability identification, remediation strategy, and lifecycle management using tools such as Rapid7, Nessus, or Qualys
- Ensure patching, hardening, and compliance with security, QoS, and regulatory standards
Monitoring, Automation & Continuous Improvement
- Define monitoring and observability standards using tools such as SolarWinds, PRTG, and Fluke
- Drive network performance analytics, capacity planning, and continuous optimization initiatives
- Promote and guide network automation and standardization to improve reliability and operational efficiency
Documentation, Reporting & Stakeholder Engagement
- Maintain architecture documentation, standards, and design artifacts
- Provide executive-level reporting on network health, risk posture, vulnerabilities, and improvement initiatives
- Mentor senior engineers and influence cross-functional teams without direct authority
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (relevant certifications may substitute).
- 12+ years of progressive experience managing and architecting enterprise-scale network environments
- Demonstrated experience operating at architect or senior design authority level
Technical Skills
- Advanced expertise in Cisco switching, routing, wireless, and SD-WAN platforms
- Strong command of OSPF, EIGRP, and BGP in large-scale environments
- Deep knowledge of Aruba wireless architectures and optimization techniques
- Experience with vulnerability management and security assessment tools
- Proficiency with enterprise network monitoring and performance tools
- Exposure to network automation frameworks and scripting
