Job summary

Keeper Security is seeking a senior software architect to lead architecture across its cloud-native platform. You will drive decisions on scalable, secure systems and mentor engineers while collaborating with product, UX and adjacent teams.

As a key technical leader, you will apply zero-trust principles, design for high availability, and leverage AI-assisted tools to accelerate architecture research and delivery. Remote US-based, with flexibility for collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional software engineering with full-stack expertise.
• 0-to-1 architecture experience from concept through production.
• Strong knowledge of OO design patterns (Gang of Four).
• Performance engineering and real-time debugging across the stack.
• Experience with scalable, highly available systems and tradeoffs between centralized/decentralized architectures.
• Distributed systems and microservices experience.
• Cloud-native technologies including AWS, Lambda, Docker and Kubernetes.
• Secure authentication/identity architectures incl. IAM and least-privilege concepts.
• Web security concepts and secure SDLC practices.
• Experience with static analysis and security tooling (e.g., SonarQube, Checkmarx).
• CI/CD and automated testing practices.

Responsibilities

• Ensure architectural decisions align with zero-knowledge and zero-trust security principles.
• Partner with Product and UX to translate complex product requirements into scalable designs.
• Mentor senior engineers and raise architectural quality and decision-making.
• Collaborate with Vault, Desktop, Mobile and backend teams where architecture overlaps.
• Leverage AI-assisted tools to enhance architecture research, prototyping, debugging, code analysis and documentation.
