ERM is seeking a Managing Technical Consultant, Archaeologist to lead cultural resources projects across the United States. You will oversee multidisciplinary archaeology studies, mentor teams, and strengthen client relationships while expanding ERM’s footprint in the cultural resources market.

The role emphasizes technical leadership, project management, and business development with travel across the US. A graduate degree in archaeology-related fields and 8+ years of experience are required.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in anthropology or archaeology and 8+ years of paid experience.
• Ability to obtain archaeological and cultural resource permits.
• Experience leading literature reviews, surveys, and data recovery.
• Strong client communication and business development skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee archaeology studies from planning through completion.
• Provide technical consulting to grow ERM's business.
• Lead and supervise field teams and subcontractors.
