Job summary

Bartlett Tree Experts in Stamford, CT is seeking an Arborist Crew Leader to lead a tree care crew and perform services safely and efficiently. You will mentor team members and coordinate daily operations on site.

Responsibilities include supervising pruning, cabling, rigging, and removals, while ensuring equipment is maintained and crews are trained to company standards. Strong focus on client relationships and safety.

Qualifications

• A passion for nature, the environment, and the outdoors.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• 3+ years of tree climbing (DdRT or SRT) and aerial lift experience in tree care.
• Valid driver’s license and clean MVR (Class B CDL preferred).
• Ability to work outdoors year-round in all weather conditions.
• Proven initiative, positive attitude, team-oriented, and self-motivated.

Responsibilities

• Safely performing and supervising all aspects of arboriculture.
• Pruning.
• Cabling and bracing.
• Rigging.
• Removals.
• Properly maintaining and operating equipment (hand tools, chainsaws, chippers, and aerial lifts).
• Supervising and managing crews while performing tree care services.
