Job summary

Bartlett is seeking an Arborist Crew Leader in Richmond, VA to lead a tree care crew and perform arboriculture services safely and efficiently. You will coach team members, ensure adherence to safety standards, and maintain equipment such as chainsaws, chippers, and aerial lifts.

The role emphasizes client communication and a passion for outdoor work. Qualified candidates will have 3+ years of tree climbing experience, a valid license, and a willingness to drive in the field.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of tree climbing experience (DdRT or SRT).
• Valid driver's license required; Class B CDL preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely performing and supervising all aspects of arboriculture.
• Pruning, cabling and bracing, rigging, removals.
• Maintaining and operating equipment (hand tools, chainsaws, chippers, and aerial lifts).
• Supervising and managing crews on job sites.
• Ensuring crew members are trained for each assignment.
• Ensuring work adheres to industry and company standards.
• Communicating with clients and building relationships.
• Ability to work outdoors year-round and pass a criminal background check.
