Bartlett Tree Experts in Monroe, CT is seeking an Arborist Crew Leader to lead a tree care crew and perform all arborist services safely and efficiently. The role emphasizes mentoring crew members, maintaining equipment, and delivering high-quality care to clients.

The position requires at least 3 years of tree climbing experience (DdRT/SRT), a valid driver’s license (Class B CDL preferred), and the ability to work outdoors year-round.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of tree climbing (DdRT or SRT) and aerial lift experience in the tree care industry.
• Valid driver’s license; Class B CDL preferred.
• Ability to work outdoors year-round in all weather conditions.
• Proven initiative, positive attitude, team-oriented and self-motivated.

Responsibilities

• Safely performing and supervising all aspects of arboriculture: pruning, cabling and bracing, rigging, removals.
• Properly maintaining and operating equipment (hand tools, chainsaws, chippers, aerial lifts).
• Supervising and managing crews on job sites; training crew members for designated assignments.
• Ensuring work complies with industry and company standards; communicating with clients and building relationships.
