Job summary

Bartlett Tree Experts is looking for an Arborist Crew Leader in Monroe, CT. In this role, you will manage a tree care crew, ensuring that all tree care services are performed safely and efficiently. You will supervise and train crew members, handle various aspects of arboriculture, and interact with clients. Candidates should have at least three years of relevant experience, a valid driver's license (Class B CDL preferred), and a passion for the outdoors. Qualifications

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Safely perform and supervise all aspects of arboriculture, including:
  • Pruning
  • Cabling and bracing
  • Rigging
  • Removals
  • Properly maintaining and operating equipment (hand tools, chainsaws, chippers, and aerial lifts)
• Bring a cooperative and enthusiastic attitude to the job site
• Supervise and manage crews while performing tree care services, as directed by the Arborist Representative and Local Manager
• Ensure that each crew member is trained appropriately for each designated job assignment
• Ensure that all tree care work is performed in accordance with industry and company standards
• Communicate, answer questions, and build relationships with clients

Qualifications

• A passion for nature, the environment, and the outdoors
• At least three (3) years of tree climbing (DdRT or SRT) and aerial lift experience in the tree care industry
• Valid driver's license (Class B CDL preferred)
• Ability to work outdoors year-round in all weather conditions
• Proven initiative, positive attitude, team-oriented, and self-motivated
