Job summary

Petco in the United States seeks a passionate team member to join our Pet Care Center, focusing on aquatic life care, guest engagement, and maintaining the PCC environment to help pets live their best lives. This role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and excellent customer service.

You will follow care guidelines, complete trainings, place aquatic orders, assist guests, manage inventory, and keep displays pristine while handling digital paperwork. HS diploma and 1 year aquatic experience required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of experience working with and/or caring for freshwater and marine aquatic life.
• Professional appearance and demeanor; strong interest in animals and their care.
• Good interpersonal and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Care for aquatic life in the PCC and follow all guidelines, policies, and procedures.
• Complete training programs to maintain expertise and educate other PCC partners.
• Effectively place aquatic life orders and handle special orders to maximize sales.
• Assist guests and PCC partners regarding aquatic education and care.
• Participate in aquatic life inventories and collaborate with CAL to identify improvements.
• Ensure aquatic life and merchandise are stocked, priced, and presented; perform housekeeping tasks.
• Complete required digital paperwork (water tests, POs, etc.) in a timely manner within the aquatic department.
• Perform additional duties as required.
